Straddle carrier relocation

This is a task we have completed for various customers over the years, numerous times. From complete decommission to relocation, being able to do this line of work has allowed us to understand many different brands of straddle carriers to an extremely high standard.

During a straddle carrier relocation we have had to:

  • Remove and safely dispose of all fluids oils, diesel etc (decontamination process)

  • Decommission all electrical systems and safely dispose of all power units.

  • Fabricate a structure to support side frames, remove top frame and supporting legs.

  • Remove legs from top frame to allow easy transport to new site

  • Relocate to new site

  • Reattach top frame to legs

  • Reattach legs to side frame

  • Reinstated and commission all electrical systems and replaced all power units with new.

  • Reinstate all hydraulic systems and replaced all fluids with new
