TC Motion Repairs Ltd was founded in 2016 by Tony Clarke to offer mobile engineering services for the maintenance of cranes and freight handling equipment along Merseyside.
Working in the local area from a van, armed with just a phone and a laptop, Tony’s drive, ambition and enthusiasm saw him quickly grow our business into the dynamic national operation it is today, with an impressive customer base and a record for excellence on all fronts.
Tony has inspired us all at TC Motion Repairs Ltd with his positive “can do” attitude. We’re not afraid of taking on any task for our clients, no matter how complex, high risk or labour intensive it may be. Our motto is “never say no”.
That’s why we are continuing to grow apace with well over a dozen staff members now on the payroll at our well-equipped workshop on the Haydock Industrial Estate in Saint Helens, north west England. You won’t often find our workforce “at home” though because our crack team of mobile engineers travel all over the UK to service, repair, maintain and inspect cranes of all sorts and a wide variety of other heavy lifting equipment.
TC Motion Repairs Ltd has expanded its offering into a special division dedicated to the repair and maintenance of HGVs and trailers – a move that means we have taken on new clients who need servicing exclusively in that area, and added a convenient second string to our bow for those who need servicing for their lifting equipment and heavy transport fleet.
If you are interested in our HGV Repairs and Maintenance service please visit the separate website to see what’s on offer in that regard.
When it comes to cranes and lifting equipment, our senior staff are keen to expand our client base. In charge are:

Managing Director, Tony Clarke, company founder and busy father of four, whose interests include motorsports and golf.

Enjoys spending time with her 3 children and attending concerts and festivals.

Engineering Supervisor, Danny Heron, who loves football and travelling (which is just as well as he travels a great deal for work).
They are very ably assisted by a team of qualified engineers who represent all age groups, bringing the enthusiasm of youth and the wisdom of experience to every project we take on. We’re all not just dedicated to our jobs and our clients, but also active in our local communities. The company and our employees all donate to and volunteer with many wonderful local charities and causes.
Our workforce are friendly, professional, highly skilled and committed to establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships. We have a combined experience of more than 100 years between us, and an impressive array of qualifications and accreditations that include:
Hard work with a firm health and safety conscience underpins our company ethos, followed closely by regarding our customers as our partners.
We value the ideas and views of our clients and will always work flexibly around any of your operational needs and requirements. From deadlines to time slots this industry never stops, and neither will we.
